Savremena’s geography teacher, Ivan Matejic, in collaboration with colleagues from other areas, published a textbook and a workbook for Nature and society subject for the fourth grade of primary school.

The aforementioned books are part of a set authorised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development in Serbia and published by Novi Logos in Belgrade. These books will be available starting from next year, so students will be able to learn with the help of an interesting and contemporary textbook. “I am very pleased by the fact that this textbook met the approval of the Ministry since I believe that it will bring the subject of Nature and society closer to the students”, said Ivan, our teacher.

Working together with his colleagues on this project, Ivan promoted the production of his scientific research and continued his professional development that will undoubtedly contribute to improving geography lessons in Savremena.

By the application of new pedagogical methods and approaches in compiling tests that are part of the book set for Nature and Society 4, Ivan will implement the acquired experience into improving working with students of Savremena.
