School stories

On Saturday, 22 April, Savremena’s students joined leisure-time runners and running aficionados at the 30th Belgrade Marathon, where they supported each other all the way to the finish line proving that, along with physical strength and endurance, they possess a strong sporting spirit, as well.

Important date in sports calendar

The Belgrade Marathon, both a sporting and a tourist event as the founders like to say, has traditionally become a place Savremena’s students eagerly visit every year so as to show their sporting spirit and good shape.

This year, our students have once again proven that training diligently for months in PE lessons pays off. Natalija Ranđelović, Anđela Vučković, Anastasija Kocić, Matej Trifković, Vuk Cemović, Lenard Ristić and Stefan Glišović, accompanied by PE teacher Stefan Radojičić and maths teacher Nemanja Đoković, ran all 5 kilometres at the Fun Run. They achieved the goal they had set and celebrated the victory of strength and determination.

We congratulate our marathon runners on their perseverance and enthusiasm, and on setting an example for their classmates with their dedication, inviting them to join them next year on the Belgrade Marathon track.
