School stories

On Saturday the 12th of March Savremena’s students Tijana Kostić and Dunja Nešković took part in the Literature Olympiad focused on Serbian and world literature as well as the theory of literature.

A praiseworthy initiative

Tijana and Dunja have already shown a great interest in literature as they thoroughly enjoy every moment of their Serbian language and literature class and enrich the quality of the lessons with their insightful interpretations.

The decision to take part in the competition came at the last minute, which in part affected their ranking. Be that as it may, Tijana and Dunja are happy they participated and that they were able to expand their knowledge and solidify what they already know. They are aware that anything can be a useful learning experience, especially when it comes to knowledge sharing activities.

We welcome a challenge!

At Savremena International school, we encourage our students to take part in competitions and expand their knowledge and skill set in that way. Good sportsmanship and a culture of fairness are essential in an academic setting and our school aims to prepare its students for life and all the challenges it may bring.

We would hereby like to congratulate our girls on their determination and we encourage them to continue competing. We wish them the best of luck at next year’s olympiad!
