We are very proud to have two student with exemplary results on their IGCSE exams – Matija Šarenac and Jana Marinović received their Cambridge ICE diplomas ‘With Distinction’ this August.

They passed all seven of their exams with As and A*s, which ensured them a place among the three percent of the best student results at a global level.

Wide range of interests and extracurricular activities

Not only do Matija and Jana excel in their academic careers, it is their chosen sports disciplines that are at an exceptional level.

Jana’s golf career has long been the talk of the school, ranging from achievements in Serbian Junior Championships to championships all over the world.

On the other hand, Matija’s sport of choice is rowing. His academic obligations do not prevent him from spending his time on trainings and sporting activities.

Cambridge

It’s a promising start

Even though Jana and Matija sat their IGCSE exams at the end of their second year at International School Savremena, their ICE diploma is just the first of many to come. Such splendid results are very promising for their future achievements on their AS and A levels, as well as all other academic challenges they will face in the course of their professional development. We wish them many more success stories such as this in the future.

An environment of understanding and support

International School Savremena is wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting young people in their academic and extracurricular achievements, whether through continuous work with students or by allowing them enough freedom to work at their own pace and pursue their own interests.

Jana and Matija are just two of our students with inspirational stories and we are looking forward to having numerous examples such as these two exemplary students.
